Long-term professional contacts of the regulatory authorities of the Republic of Belarus and of the Republic of Poland will make it possible to implement measures to further improve the level of safety in the international transport of dangerous goods

In the period from March 5 to 6 is the participation of the head of the Department for the Supervision of Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Alexandr Klobuk in a bilateral meeting with the Director of the Transport Technical Supervision of the Republic of Poland scheduled to be held. The signing of Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of safe transportation of dangerous goods between the Department for Supervision of Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the Transport Technical Supervision in the Republic of Poland and Plan of joint actions for the implementation of this Memorandum is planned during the visit. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will make the implementation of activities according to the Plan of joint action and consider the experience of implementing the provisions of the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods (ADR) and European standards in national legislation, which in turn, will increase the level during safe transportation of dangerous goods. Also the Gospromnadzor's experts are going to participate in the scientific and technical conference “Transportation of Dangerous Goods” organized by the Transport Technical Supervision. Representatives of the Department of Road Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of State Assets, the Department of Liquid Fuel Market of the Energy Regulatory Authority, the General Inspectorate of Road Transport, the Police and the State Fire Service of the Republic of Poland will make presentations at the Conference. It should be noted that this visit was preceded by a meeting of the heads of the above authorities which took place in Minsk from October 16 to 17, 2019.
